Regina Druz, MD, FASNC, National Director of Cardiology
Dr. Druz is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine with subspecialty certifications in Nuclear Cardiology, Adult Echocardiography and Cardiac Computed Tomography. A graduate of the Weill Cornell University Medical College, she completed her residency and fellowship training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Druz is currently a Chief of Cardiology at a community hospital affiliated with Catholic Health Services of Long Island. She is a certified functional medicine physician with over 5 years of functional medicine experience and completed the Fellowship in Cardiometabolic Medicine in 2015. She is a board member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and a chairwoman of the American College of Cardiology Innovation Section. Dr. Druz has authored numerous peer-reviewed research publications. She is recognized as a national expert in cardiology.
Dr. Druz is a creator of the pioneering program-Functional and Integrative Therapies based on Genome, Environment, Nutrition, Exercise, Stress and Sleep (FIT In Your GENES®). The program is based on the cutting edge functional medicine approaches to heart and vascular disease. Dr. Druz provides a suggestion on the nutritional and supplemental therapies for every patient during a typical office visit. Appointments can be scheduled for traditional cardiac care, holistic cardiology and functional medicine consult, nutritional intervention, weight loss, and wellness and anti-aging counseling separately or as a part of a comprehensive 6-12 months program. Dr. Druz consults and treats all cardiac conditions, and is available to provide a second opinion or to suggest an experienced sub specialist for cardiac surgeries and procedures. She is a passionate believer in creating web-based and mobile tools for patient engagement.
