Busy professionals who want a streamlined complete physical exam

An Executive Physical Designed to Find What Routine Care Misses
More than a checkup. A comprehensive, physician-led evaluation of your current health, future risk, and opportunities to improve how you feel and age.

What Is an Executive Physical?
Led personally by Dr. Gitelmaker, your executive physical brings advanced diagnostics, cardiovascular and metabolic assessment, body composition, fitness and performance data, and preventive screening together into one coordinated evaluation.
An executive physical is a comprehensive, physician-led health evaluation designed to go well beyond a routine annual exam. It combines an in-depth medical review with advanced preventive testing, cardiovascular and metabolic assessment, performance and body-composition data, and age-appropriate screening.
The goal is not simply to identify whether something is “normal” or “abnormal.” It is to understand your current health, uncover risks that may be developing before symptoms appear, and translate your results into a clear, personalized strategy for what to focus on next.
You leave with more than test results. You leave with a clear, personalized health strategy and a physician who can continue monitoring your progress over time.

How Your Executive Physical Works

Your executive physical is designed to be thorough without feeling clinical, fragmented, or rushed. From the moment you arrive, our care team coordinates the experience so you can move efficiently through your evaluation with minimal waiting and maximum time focused on your health.
1. Arrive. We Take Care of the Details.
You’re welcomed by our care team and guided through each part of your visit. Your history, medications, prior testing, and health concerns are reviewed in advance so you aren’t spending your appointment filling out paperwork or repeating information we should already know.
The goal is simple: a calm, private, highly organized experience built around your time.
2. Your Executive Testing Morning
Plan to spend up to approximately two hours with us completing a comprehensive preventive health assessment. Your evaluation may include:
- Advanced blood testing, 82 biomarkers: a broad laboratory assessment including cardiometabolic risk, ApoB, glucose control and A1c, insulin-resistance markers, inflammatory markers, hormone testing, and other important indicators of metabolic and preventive health.
- Body composition analysis: a detailed assessment of body fat, lean muscle mass, visceral fat, and other measurements that help us look beyond body weight alone.
- Vision screening: advanced French-designed vision screening to evaluate key aspects of visual function.
- Hearing evaluation: objective screening for changes in hearing that can otherwise develop gradually and go unnoticed.
- Strength, mobility, and functional assessment: evaluation of strength, movement, balance, and physical function, important markers of long-term independence and healthy aging.
- Pulmonary function testing: measurement of respiratory function, including FEV1 and FEV1/FVC, to assess airflow and pulmonary performance.
- Cardiorespiratory and metabolic assessment: resting physiologic testing provides insight into metabolism and cardiorespiratory health. Optional maximal VO₂ max exercise testing is also available for patients who want a deeper assessment of cardiovascular fitness and performance.
- Venous and vascular insufficiency screening: evaluation for evidence of impaired venous circulation and vascular dysfunction.
3. Your Physician Puts the Data Together
Dr. Gitelmaker personally reviews your history, examination, laboratory results, physiologic testing, and preventive screening.
The purpose is not to hand you dozens of individual reports. It is to interpret them together, looking for patterns, early risk signals, opportunities for prevention, and areas where your health can be meaningfully improved.
4. Dedicated Cardiovascular & Vascular Imaging
Your advanced vascular evaluation is performed during a separate scheduled visit so it can receive the time and attention it deserves. This evaluation may include:
- Echocardiogram to assess cardiac structure and function
- Carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) testing to evaluate carotid artery health and evidence of subclinical atherosclerosis
- Carotid ultrasound assessment to help evaluate vascular disease and stroke-related risk
- Abdominal aortic ultrasound to screen for aortic aneurysm when clinically appropriate
- Additional vascular ultrasound assessment based on your individual risk profile
5. Return for Your Personalized Health Strategy
Once your results are complete, you meet with Dr. Gitelmaker to review the entire picture.
Rather than simply being told that your tests are “normal,” you’ll understand where your health stands today, which risks deserve attention, what can be optimized, and what should be monitored over time.
You leave with a clear, physician-led strategy for your health and, if you choose ongoing care with GitelCare, a framework for continuing to measure your progress over time.
